Belogradchik rocks coin sells out in three days!

This fact is pleasing the coin collectors in Bulgaria as in recent years there have been many issues that have not enjoyed such an interest. Examples of recent coin that are sill available for sale and that have show little if any price appreciation are below:

2009 - 10 Leva 140 Years Bulgarian Exarchate .925 Silver
2009 - 100 Leva St. Dimitar The Wonderworker .999 Gold
2009 - 10 Leva Bulgarian Pottery .500 Silver
2009 - 2 Leva 110 Years since the Birth of Dechko Uzunov .999 Copper

2008 - 10 Leva Nikolay Gyaurov .999 Silver
2008 - 10 Leva Sevt III .999 Silver
2008 - 10 Leva Shooting sports .925 Silver
2008 - 10 Leva 130th Anniversary of Bulgaria’s Liberation .925 Silver

RELATED COIN DETAILS
The mintage of the coin was a surprise to coin collectors in Bulgaria with its mintage of 4,000 pieces instead of the previously announced 6,000 pieces. In our opinion, this fact alone will justify a serious interest in it.

The design of the coin could have been better indeed. However, judging by the history of modern Bulgarian coins, Bulgarian silver coins with mintage of less than 4,000 have ALL quickly sold out and are currently harder to find. Since the year 2000 such sold out coins are:

- The 2009 "130 Years Bulgarian National Bank", 10 Leva .999 Silver Coin

- The 2005 "20th Winter Olympic Games, Torino, Italy, 2006: Shorttrack", 10 Leva .925 Silver Coin

- The 2003 "60th Anniversary of the Rescue of Jewish People in Bulgaria", 10 Leva .925 Silver Coin
