One of the most beautiful Bulgarian coins in recent years. Compared with other Bulgarian gold plated coins this is the first one to sport a .925 silver content, while the rest have traditionally had a .999 silver content. This is the very first time when the number 10 showing the nominal value of the coin nicely crosses into the gilded ring of the coin. Similar old Bulgarian style font has been used only once before in a Bulgarian coin, namely the 2004 "St. Nicolas - the Wonderworker". The details of the coin are remarkable. We think that this coin will make a great addition to any collection.
On the obverse of the coin is the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank, with the year 1879 inscribed on the ribbon. Under the logo is a flower arrangement, and under it the nominal value of the coin "10", the lower part of which goes into the gold plated ring. Around the coin is the inscription "Bulgarian National Bank", "Leva" and the year of issue „2010“.
Reverse:
On the reverse of the coin is a plastic composition modeled after the lithography of Nikolai Pavlovich "Monument of the Church question". Around it is a gold plated ring with the text "140 years" and "Bulgarian Exarchate", separated by two small crosses.
