On September, 1, 2010 the Bulgarian National Bank introduces in circulation a gilded silver commemorative coin commemorating the 125 years of the Bulgarian Unification in 1885. Its price will be 60 leva including VAT.

The latest Bulgarian silver coin 'Natural phenomenon Belogradchik rocks' has quickly sold out. In just three days collectors picked up all of the available coins from the official 4,000 mintage. The interest in it has proven significant indeed. The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) will put into circulation on February 22 a silver commemorative coin to mark 140 years of the Bulgarian Exarchate.
The coin, which is made of silver with partial gold-plating, has a nominal value of BGN 10, and availability will be limited to 6 000 pieces. It will go on sale at BGN 60.

The Panagyurishte treasure consists of nine richly adorned vessels with total weight of 6.164 kg 23-carat Gold. It was discovered in 1949 during earth-digging works near the town of Panagyurishte. The gold beverage set includes a phiale (a bowl), an amphora and seven rhyta (cups).

The Bulgarian Central Bank (BNB) issued on September 14 a new commemorative coin from the Bulgarian Crafts coin series - "Bulgarian Pottery".
The coin boasts bright colors and is dedicated to the traditional Bulgarian craft of making pottery. Its nominal value is 5 Bulgarian Leva and can be purchased for BGN 38 from BNB, other banks where available, and the National Art Gallery.

Silver commemorative coin with an inscription “130 years Bulgarian national bank” will be released on 18 May, informs the Bulgarian national bank (BNB). Authors of the art project are Razvigor Kolev and Borislav Kiosev.
On the front side of the coin the emblem of the bank is depicted with the years “1879” and “2009”, written on the ribbon. Around it is written “Bulgarian national bank”, the nominal value of the coin and the year of the emission – “2009”.
A collectible coin commemorating 110 years since the birth of Dechko Uzunov, part of the Noteworthy Bulgarian Artists series of Bulgarian National Bank, will go on sale from February 23, the central bank said on February 20 2009.
