The obverse of the coin features the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank, with the year "1879" written on the tape. Around it is written "BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK" face value "100 EURO" and the year of issue "2012".
Reverse:
The reverse of the coin depicts a scene from an icon of St. Petka Bulgarian. Around the inscription "ST. BULGARIAN Petka ", and on both sides of the image of the saint's name is inscribed on the Slavonic language.
