How the Exchange works

Auction: you set the most you are willing to pay and the system bids for you in the smallest step. A bid in the last 3 minutes extends the auction by 3 minutes, so nobody can snipe the lot in the final second.

Buy now and fixed price: you buy at once. Market price: the seller ties the price to the market median (for example 95 % of it) – the price updates itself whenever market prices are refreshed.

Offers: on fixed-price listings you can propose your own price, which the seller accepts or declines.

Safer than a plain classified

Every listing is tied to a specific catalogue coin – year, face value, metal, weight and mintage are the BNB’s official data – and next to the price you see how it compares with the market median and the metal value.

Sellers confirm their email, phone and town; ratings after each deal are public. Photos of the obverse and reverse are required, and certified coins (PCGS, NGC) are listed with their certificate number.

Payment and delivery are agreed directly: bank transfer, cash on delivery with Econt, Speedy or BOX NOW, or meeting in person. BulgarianCoins does not hold the money or the coins. During the beta the Exchange charges no fees.

What can be sold

Bulgarian coins from the catalogue – from 1881 to today’s euro coins: commemoratives, circulation coins, proofs and certified coins. Ancient and medieval coins are cultural property under the Cultural Heritage Act and are not accepted. Replicas, copies and “souvenir” coins are not accepted either.
